The major business of the Nigerian Law Reform Commission is to keep under review all Federal Laws with a view to their systematic development and reform in consonance with prevailing norms of the Nigerian society.
The Commission has always regarded the public as its most important strategic partner in this business and has therefore always placed a very high premium on public communication and consultation as an indispensable key component of the Law reform process.
The Commission realizes that the need for wide public participation in the law reform process is even greater now that we are in a democratic dispensation and has therefore set as part of its immediate action plan the enhancement of its public communication and consultation capability.
